Remember "Duck and Cover"?
http://freebeacon.com/new-nukes/
As reported from here through the Washington Times, Congress looks to study whether more nukes in Asia will counter Chin'as nuclear threat, officially estimated at 300-400 warheads, unofficially a "magnitude" higher. Demonrats call it "just completely wrong." Guess I can go back to digging my fallout shelter. |
Re: Remember "Duck and Cover"?
Six million shipping containers arrive in the USA each year from abroad. That is the most probable delivery system to the US for a nuke.

Re: Remember "Duck and Cover"?
China only needs a few ICBMs to offset the USA's. Not many.
They could build as many as they want, but they are so smart with the benefit of hindsight and history that they probably see it was the ICBM race that bankrupted the USSR. Plus they already know the USA would never fire first on China, because we never fired first on the USSR, even though we could have, several times. China already has the most powerful army and air force in Asia, more than enough to wipe the USA off the map there. There is no incentive for China to waste its US dollars on ICBMs. Think about it. |

Mackmood Ahmadi-nut-job in Iran is crazy enough to fund what is left of Al Qaeda to get them to smuggle a nuke in a shipping container into the USA though. That's the real risk. So that's where the USA needs to spend its freshly printed greenbacks. We need more CIA and FBI. Nice job by the CIA and USN in capping-off Bin Laden. Keep those drones shooting at the other nut-jobs in northern Pakistan too. |
