Re: prayer please

stumpjumper, you have my prayers and empathy from over here.

So sorry to hear that, and I know a little of what you are going through; my mother died last November; similar circumstances.

Psalm 23 talks about the valley of death being a place we go through. We enter it, and we come out the other side. We enter grief, missing family, and we come out the other side. It's a process.

Asking God to comfort you and let you know He is right there beside you, leading and even carrying you through this valley.

Heavenly Father, I come before you today upholding the man we know as Stumpjumper.
He has suffered a loss, Lord, and we ask that you would bring peace upon him, and upon his entire family.
We ask that you would strengthen them as they make the final arrangements for his mother.
And we ask that you would impress each family member and each friend with the fact that goodbye to someone who has died in this world does not have to be permanent.
Bless each one, Lord.

And I ask it in the sacred name of Jesus the Christ, the Resurrection and the Life.

Amen -
