Tips for shtf
 

I have learned alot this last go round with this storm. I will offer you all some tips in the next few days as i write them down. In a shtf situation I have learned that as you bunker down in your home you should have a Q-beam and a way to power it in the front of your house and the back of your house. Plus if at all possibe make it so that you can use it inside your house to spot outside. If you loose power and are running a generator this is still important. The creepies are out there and the flashlights do not compair.

You would be suprised but the creepies do walk amoung you property lines in the dead and dark of night. You really need to develop a security plan.

I can tell you this is a must and the difference between life and death. Heed my warning. I have seen this twice now for both katrina and isaac. SO have my neighbors. You must form a tight group with your immed neighbors and communicate with them and keep it going.

Thanks for the heads up. I have never heard of a "Q-Beam" but Google set me straight.

Sometimes it requires 'standing watch'....
Spouse in the daylight, you in the dark of night.
Yes, you [we,us] need MORE than a tactical flashlight
to spot brightly an 'object' not relatively close.

When the police showed up here we all went into the woods with flashlights and that was a joke. I went to my boat and pulled out the qbeam and lit the woods up. You really need alot of light and a broad area of light to cut the night and expose that ghost. Even tho he was long gone the Q-beam is the tool for the job.

Q-Beam....
If you've had a boat, or [thought] about spotlighting deer,
you know what it is......[sorry deer, just a reference].
A handheld spotlight with several million candlepower intensity......
of a 12V persuasion ........
Some lenses with a 'tint' to avoid reflection off water, etc.

I have several Q beams. And one of them is like 15 million candle power. Itll give you a dang sunburn.

I remember the first one I bought, had to turn it toward my face when I turned it on... never did that again, was about 10 minutes before I could see again.

Here at my house they can run the property lines all they want to, the dogs will tell me where they are, day, or night! The spot light will light them up in the darkness. http://www.basspro.com/Optronics-QR2...product/52298/ Spot light gets recharged off a battery Jump Starter, with a inverter, or can be plugged into the car using the inverter, when the power is down.
