The Remington 513-T....fans speak up please...
I have always thought that the 513-T was one of the most ignored, underated of the smallbore rifles.
IMHO, it is a very good smallbore rifle for the begining or club shooter, or someone like me too old to benefit from an Anschutz 1903, 1907 or whatever, and it has the benefit of being quite affordable. Plus, since I do not compete I love them 6 round mags! The rifle is far more accurate than I can shoot it as long as I stick to subsonic, target ammo. I would not part with mine for three times what I paid for it last month.:) |
Re: The Remington 513-T....fans speak up please...
I have a 511p that was my first rifle from the mid 60's and still a great old shooter. I to shoot the same type ammo. Boy have they got'n costly lately. Or at least what people think there worth.

I have owned the 513-T, 514-S and 514-T and all of them were tackdrivers.
Not on the level of my Anschutz but after a little work, close. |
Re: The Remington 513-T....fans speak up please...
My 513-T has a mismatched bolt (serial number wise) which I assume was the result of it being a club rifle at some point.
My shooting buddy Ralph also says the bolt handle has been bent downwards. About what angle does a factory 513-T bolt handle bend down, if at all Shooter45? |
