Bitter Clingers
 

YOU can bitterly cling to the Government, which:

WILL:
fail to protect you when you are raped, robbed or murdered.
tax you into poverty.
violate all of your constitutional and civil rights.
lie to you, mislead you, and steal from you.

MAY:
take everything you have, "for the greater good".
assassinate you for any reason or none whatsoever.
detain or imprison you and/or your family without charge, due process, probably cause, or legal defense.


but I'LL "bitterly" cling to my guns and my Bible, which:

WILL:
bring me peace of mind, soul, and body.
never lie, mislead, or steal from me.
enable me to defend myself from an attacker, and afterwards, as they lay dieing at my feet, to comfort and console them with the word of God in their last moments on this earth.

MAY(if applied properly):
allow me to fight to defend my freedom, country, property, and way of life, and the moral standing to do so.
