WSB-TV reports that Lakeside Guns Shop owner Kristina Brown plans to open the multimillion-dollar indoor range with her husband in Powder Springs. And when it comes to being state of the art, the Governor's Gun Club will not only have the best technology available to marksmen, it will also have Maker's Mark.
That's because by a vote of 4-1, the Powder Springs City Council approved an alcohol permit for the establishment.

Well, Josh, I don't see what hunting in Costa Rica has to do with opening a bar in an indoor range, but I do think that mixing alcohol and gunpowder could lead to explosive results. But like you, am still missing the tobacco angle. :)

heck ranges and club here often have bars , common rule amongst all of them

once you touch any booze you cant touch a weapon again

so finish your shoot put ya guns away then start in on the lies and yarn spinnin over a couple cold ones ..

There's nothing wrong with a little alcohol and firearms. It's just all the idiots that have a LOT of alcohol and firearms that gives it a bad rap.........

I can see it working like a "19th hole" kinda thing. Finish up your hobby, then enjoy a round or two with your buddies.

It'll probably be a hit.

Shouldn't the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives be a convenience store instead of a government agency?

I think Jack's way is better, one is good for some not enough for others....then someone tries to play Cowboy Joe and his spinnin' 6 shooters and all hell breaks out.

Actually I knew a guy who did just that, a millwright (nothing against millwrights) tried to play quick draw and blew a few toes off.

Just tell stories...more fun and safer. ;)

I don't see a problem. There's always alcohol involved when we go hunting, it comes at the end of the days hunt.

I drink a few beers when target shooting because the fact it calms my shaking hands but do I operate a weapon intoxicated? no . Also around this area where I live dove hunting and beer go together.
