Anyone have a real close bed side holster? I was looking at something like this.

Just tuck between matress or on a couch, I guess.

(NOT FOR HOUSE WITH KIDS)

that's a good idea there, made one for a shotgun that works OK.

Even with kids, that would be a good stash idea for when you're sleeping for your every day carry gun; gets it off the nightstand (the first place a BG will likely look).

gonna have to make one of those this weekend.

I was looking at various ones, some fit for a specific gun or size gun, I like the look of this one.

Been thinking about this awhile. Yeah my bed isn't far from nearest gun -but- I have to get up to get at it....valuable seconds lost.

I'd rather drop my arm and GO.

HEY make one for the remote too. :D

Well, there is one problem that I see with it. How do I put this? You know when the bed begins to thrash back and forth and up and down,,, you know? I'm just wondering would the holster get tossed onto the ground? I don't need two guns going off at once. Hey, I just want to know. Safety first you know.

My read read this and blushed. Hey, us guys need to know these things. Seriously, if it would stay put I would be interested. I think I will buy it and if I need to lengthen the portion that goes under the mattress I will. Then again, maybe I could make my own and rig a retention holster to it so then the grandkids can't pull it out. Hmm, there's an idea.

Not For House With Kids
I'm lucky, someone I know is a seamstress and she'll make any wierd thing I can come up with.
Cover a piece of steel or plastic bent to an ell shape with material and a pouch to hold a weapon, wether pistol or shotgun, all for less than $5.00. And I get to pick the material.
I should pay $25.00 + for a "tactical" bed holster? It holds a gun while you're asleep. You're not hooking it on and off a belt all day.
And then there's also the option of just setting it on a nightstand. One on each side of the bed. Very easy access from anywhere. Cost: 0.
Again, these are strictly for homes without children.
If you have children, you have bigger problems to worry about. :D

Hang it from a rope off the ceiling like people do with tennis balls in the garage. Just sit up and it is right there ready.

Inside of furniture is a good place to hide a gun. Have a nightstand with a drawer? Pull out the drawer and see if you can attach a gun to the back of it. Not that I would ever hide one there. Just sayin

Highboy, it would be real easy to secure with a few pins or even make a few buttons or snaps to hold it in place. The alternative would be sew a strap on it that goes around the box springs.

And if you are moving the mattress that much, you are doing something wrong. You may just want to move it to the floor next time....... Just sayin.......

A friend made a box from wood that was attached to the headboard. You would never know it was there.

That's not what my wife says... Just saying.:D And oh ya, when the mattress moves too much the handle bars fall off the head board and then things really start going south because we begin sliding off the plastic sheets. But my wife is a patient individual.

Yeah upstairs is no problem.

I have a bed downstairs in a big room and the nightstand isn't on my right side plus there's a big glass sliding door leading out to my deck and around the corner is the door to the garage. (a layout thing)

Well I really like the idea of having my gun right there PLUS it would always be right there.

......oh, wife doesn't get one. Hey when she's alone she's got her mag upstairs.
