Reloader for 24 gauge and 32 gauge?
This is probably the wrong place for this, but I cannot start a new thread for some reason. I am looking for a press that can load 24 gauge and one for 32 gauge for a friend. Anyone have any ideas where to start?

They are European sizes, Steve. I've never seen any, but I know they exist.

Re: Reloader for 24 gauge and 32 gauge?
Correct, two different guns. They are English. I found dies for the 24 and ammo, this guys wants to reload himself.

Re: Reloader for 24 gauge and 32 gauge?
I've seen 'em but never shot 'em. Beretta still makes guns in both gauges. You might look up J & S Precision in Azusa California to know if he has any idea about loaders. You also might try Pacific Sporting Arms as well. I'm guessing they're gonna be very pricey. Your only source for hulls is probably going to be Fiocchi.

Re: Reloader for 24 gauge and 32 gauge?
Well, I have spoken to all the major reloading companies and nobody makes one. Hulls are not an issue, he has a supply of those. ANy other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This has to exist somewhere. It doesn't sound like money was an issue to this guy either.
Thanks for the help so far. |

Did you call these guys? http://www.vihtavuori-lapua.com/
I don't think they make one, but they would have the inside scoop on the European reloading scene. |
Re: Reloader for 24 gauge and 32 gauge?
Thanks for all the help. Believe it or not, with all your help and the help of everyone that you sent me to, I found them. I was able to find a company in Ohio that actually still makes them. www.ch4d.com, they seem to have everything.

Re: Reloader for 24 gauge and 32 gauge?
Really?? I have had them bookmarked for a couple years, and I even quickly checked their site. Didn't find anything.
Glad you did, though. :) |
Re: Reloader for 24 gauge and 32 gauge?
these guys have always been a favorite of mine, I use their stuff in my buckshot and .410 loads. (and they're from my home state!)
oh yeah, the link: http://www.circlefly.com/html/products.html too much coffee this morning... I don't think they have dies but components are abundant in any gauge. I had not heard of CH4D, thanks for that info! |
Re: Reloader for 24 gauge and 32 gauge?
CH4D was listed on a cowboy load site as the supplier for 24 gauge dies only. I called them today. They had the 24 dies in stock and can make the 32 dies, 4-6 months out. They make dies that will fit in other manufacturers presses.
