Cleaning kit

I had a 3 piece Outer's cleaning rod kit for .22's that I've used for years. Tonight, while cleaning a Savage MkII, one of the rods broke.
Since it looks like I'm gonna need a new cleaning rod, I thought I'd ask what all of you prefer. The 3 piece rod was nice cause I could use just one rod for most pistols. A single piece rod might be better, or a boresnake might be best.
Thinking mostly about .22 rifles, what do you like most and recommend?

I like and use boresnakes for range cleanings. They are worth the money. For a serious cleaning kit, Otis is the way to go.

I use whatever I can find at a good price - get most of my stuff at auctions.

I like the Otis system---just can't figure out how to use their patches.

I've broken more aluminum three piece rods that I care to mention, right at the threaded area. I'm going to get some steel one piece rods and use on all my rifles, with a bore guide for the AR. Pricey but worth it. However, I also like bore snakes. The may not get your bore squeaky clean but they are good enough. I only use a rod once in a great while.

One-piece rods last a LONG time :)

Get one for your rifles...
and use your leftovers for your pistols!!
