You know, I cannot figure this one out.

I have been married 32 years to the same woman, and UCMJ or not, I kind of understand the difference between a promise, an oath and a VOW...

Break a Promise, lose a friend...

Break an Oath, go to Jail (unless you are the President of course:cool:)

Break a vow, go to HELL.


Now I REALIZE how much you have to work and how much you have to have on the ball to become a 4 star....

But how SMART is he, much LESS can he be trusted in the future?


COME ON, YEAH I could maybe see me going for that woman, she's not THAT bad a "looker," who also happened to be 20 years younger than me and gave me googoo eyes, IF I WAS SINGLE, but I would hope it would take a HELLUVA lot more than THAT to make me break THAT vow I made when we married...



Now I will not pass judgement; I had an boss once who explained why he was faithful to his wife which was "When I had the opportunity, THANK GOD I didn't have the inclination, and when I had the inclination, THANK GOD I didn't have the opportunity...." which is as honest an explanation as I have ever heard to explain it...and this from a guy who wasn't especially religious, who I had to argue like heck to convince him he was actually an "Agnostic" and not really an "Atheist" like he first explained himself!;):D

Guys - she is an ex military officer. Poor judgement - definitely for both of them IF it's actually true. Nothing would surprise me at this point with the Obozo fiasco. This whole 'affair' thing could simply be all cooked up to make the general resign - i.e. "General - go along with it or your wife dies". They obviously didn't want him to testify.

How much free time could the DCI actually have to go have an affair?

I too think he was set-up. Both she and her sister are whack-job whores and have a long history of spending problems. They'd do anything for money and position. He was just using the little brain too often.
The thing that gets me is all this self righteous calling for the most severe punishment that can be awarded; for holding him up to a higher standard etc. How soon they forget that William Jefferson Clinton, then the POTUS, the highest office in the land, did the same or worse, and got a pass.
It's all smoke and mirrors to take the heat off of Obunghole for Bengazi!
