Sunday my wife and I stopped in to a IHOP restaurant in Greenville, Tx. Shortly after we sat down two very nice 8-9 year girls came up and asked if we were veterans. I responded yes and they said "thank you very much for your service". I had a hard time responding without chocking up. They then searched out another vet I had been talking to while waiting to be seated and thanked him too. I had cloudy eyes for a few minutes. It's one of the nicest things that has happened to me in years.
