I took better pics..

Weight is no heavier than a normal set of grips. and the checkering is super sharp

very sharp!

my only concern would be how cold they would be in the winter months, fingers would freeze to 'em out here!

I see you've got the right barrel/bushing (or at least the bushing) in that 1911, ed brown is my favorite I have to say. Got my commander barrel/bushing from them for a very low price.

yeah, I know winter in FL means it's only going to be 75' F instead of 90, ha!

it's actually fairly mild winters here but in the cascades, it's world record snowfall and very cold!!

The only thing left taurus about that 1911 is the name on the slide. Ed brown barrel and bushing, Wilson combat internals, and a S&A MSH. complete with CMC mags
