45 colt reloading heavy loads?

I am looking for some advise on reloading some 45 colts for my six gun. Wanting to load some heavy loads like 300 grain and over. Where can I find the reloading bullets or the moulds to make my own heavy loads? Thanks

Go to your local gun show. Cast bullets can be had there for not much money.

As for molds, the experts can be found at CastBoolits site.

what kind of 'sixgun' ?
If not a Ruger,do not use the 'ruger only' heavy loads,it'll be bye bye sixgun if you do.
a 250 grain cast bullet over 8 grains Unique is a 'heavy' load in a single action,if u just want to play around with some stout loads.

Lyman makes a heavy bullet mold for the .45/.454, #452651 that drops a 325 gr. + bullet with gascheck.
I use it for Elk and other heavy game in my Blackhawk.
