Precision Delta Bullets
I received an order of 1,000 S&W .40 180 gr. and 1,000 - 9mm 115 gr bullets from PD last Thursday. I weighed and measured 50 bullets from each batch and I am very impressed with their manufacturing tolerances.
The average weight of the 180 gr, .40 caliber bullets was 180.30 gr, the range was 179.60 - 180.56 gr. The average diameter was exactly .400", the range was 0.399 - 0.401. For the 9mm the average weight was 115.20 gr, the range was 114.94 - 115.60. The average diameter was exactly 0.355", the range was 0.354 - 0.355. That is every bit as good as the expensive Hornady XTP's and maybe even a little better. I received 500 free 9mm XTPs when I bought the LNL press and two of the 500 were flat on one side. That's not a big deal, but so far I have not found any of PD bullets to be deformed. |
Re: Precision Delta Bullets
I recently sent best friend over to Precision Delta for the purchase of some bulk ammo.
Fast delivery, good looking and shooting ammunition. Not a thing negative to say. Given the current circumstances of political uncertainty and ammo shortage they were very good. Gary |
Re: Precision Delta Bullets
And to think, there are still tons of folks out there spending MORE for Berrys plated. Well Steve, congrats on finding quite possibly the best value on bullets out there!

Re: Precision Delta Bullets
Wow, that is amazing (on your part!). Those of us that have used them know PD makes a nice (and cost effective) product. Hope you like how they shoot.

Re: Precision Delta Bullets
When I read this thread a couple of days ago, I looked them up and added them to my favorites list. The next time I need to order some bullets I am going to give them a try.
