There was a football game yesterday?

Didn't get a chance to see it. I had the honor, at 6:00 PM yesterday, to be presented with a new granddaughter, 8 lbs 5 oz; mother and baby both doing great!

Our oldest daughter gave birth to her first baby just one month after our youngest daughter gave us our very first grandchild, a baby boy, 5lbs 2 oz preemie born on Christmas Eve (what a great Christmas present THAT one was!).

Can you tell that I am one happy camper? Can't stop grinning from ear to ear.

Heading back to the hospital shortly to hold my grandaughter again, didn't get enough of her last night. My lovely and gracious Margie and I are as happy as we've ever been; gonna be a GREAT year with two new babies to spoil!

Congrats, 280!! That was certainly worth missing a dumb ol' football game. ;)

Congratulations, 280freak.

Grandchildren are great. We have four, mostly grown up now, two are married and the other two are about out of high school. We have two more on the way, though, so it will be a great year.

I am sure you will enjoy them as time goes by. Also, you'll find you can spoil them to death and then send them home.....
