Hope they have improved on the gas system.
That has always been the weak point of Stoner's design

Wow! Just wow! I can't believe the military is doing away with the bolt action sniper rifle! I can't believe they're adopting what amounts to an ar 10 some 50 years after it was developed! Unbelieveable!

I think it is a nice weapon, myself...Although it is just an AR-10....The only fancy gadget is the buttstock...which you can buy anyway...

Don't worry, that's just the army; the Marine Corps will never give up the bolt action rifle.:)
