Paddle Holsters Anyone?
Do any of you folks have and use a paddle holster for conceal carry? If so, do they snug-up against your waist as good as a nice leather high ride holster? Any recommendations are welcome.

Re: Paddle Holsters Anyone?
I use an old Fobus for my SIG. Not saying it is the best, just that I LIKE the way it nestles up against my body. Looking for one for an HK. Don't know if the "new ones" ride the same.

Re: Paddle Holsters Anyone?
Durk, I strongly prefer paddle rigs and use that style for my carry weapons most of the time. In my opinion, they are much more comfortable and convenient than any belt loop rig, particularly if your lifestyle requires you to put on and take off the handgun frequently. The key with paddle rigs though, is to always buy quality, not junk. The very best one I have ever encountered is the Kramer MSP (Minnesota State Police) design. They are not cheap (around $150), but they are extremely comfortable and as stable as a rock in use.

Thanks guys, sounds like all thumbs-up! I think I will get one or two.
Thumb break or no thumb break? |
Re: Paddle Holsters Anyone?
I've never had much luck w/ paddle rigs. the grip and butt of the gun always seems to stick way out and print really badly, plus i'm always worried that if i lift my arm up, my shirt will raise and show the holster. IWB is the way i carry.

With a good designed holster and belt it should snug against you nice and tight.
