Jager AP74 magazine question

2 Attachment(s)
Can anybody help, I was speaking to a guy who many years ago owned a Jager AP74 rifle (.22). He told me that there was a Beretta .22 pistol magazine that would work in his Jager. He also seems to think there was a early Marlin (?).22 magazine that would fit.
Is this possible ???? Left mag is Beretta, right Jager

This guy was so sure, but what model Berreta ?? The photo's look very close.
The problem for me is English gun laws....no pistols, but military arms fairs, tend to have boxes of old pistol mag's. Oh, please let them fit. Not sure about the U.S, but here in the UK, Jager Magazines are like Rocking-horse sh*t, you never see any.
