I know this is kind of like shooting a dead horse, but it just irritates me that this goes on and is perfectly "legal" in California. I don't know how legal construction guys, for example, can put up with it.

Joe Legal works in construction, has a Social Security Number, and makes $25.00 per hour with payroll taxes deducted.
Jose Illegal also works in construction, has NO Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash "under the table."
Joe Legal ... $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week = $52,000 per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax. Joe Legal now has $31,231.00.
Jose Illegal ... $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week = $31,200.00 per year. Jose Illegal pays no taxes. Jose Illegal now has $31,200.00.
Joe Legal pays for Medical and Dental Insurance with limited coverage ... $1000.00 per month = $12,000.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $19,231.00.
Jose Illegal has full Medical and Dental coverage through the state and local clinics at a cost of $0.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.
Joe Legal makes too much money to be eligible for Food Stamps or Welfare so Joe Legal pays for food... $1,000.00 per month = $12,000.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $7,231.00.
Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for Food Stamps and Welfare. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.
Joe Legal pays rent of $1,000.00 per month = $12,000.00 per year. Joe Legal is now in the hole -$4,769.00.
Jose Illegal receives a $500 per month Federal rent subsidy, which entirely pays his rent of $500.00 per month = $6,000.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.
Joe Legal now works overtime on Saturdays and gets a part time job after work to make ends meet.
Jose Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family.
Joe Legal's and Jose Illegal'schildren both attend the same school.
Joe Legal pays for his children's lunches while Jose Illegal's children get free government sponsored lunches.
Joe Legal's children go home after school. Jose Illegal's children have an after school ESL program which, again, is provided free of charge.
Joe Legal and Jose Illegal both enjoy the same Police and Fire Services, but Joe Legal paid for them, and Jose Illegal did not pay.

well this is social injustice but all i see it he's in the country raising his kids and as long as those kids are smart and get skilled jobs to help the country in the future then thats fine they can stay BUT if he raises his kids to be criminals and unskilled burger flipper get the hell out of the country we need more educated skilled workers not more manual laborers

yes there is but are the following it? no there not so what are we gonna do about it well first thing is the US has to stop giving illegals the opportunity to get jobs There are plenty of other rich countries in the world. In fact there are a lot of countries that have a more liberal political structure, better welfare and even a better happiness index. But why are illegal immigrants not flooding these countries? There are no jobs there for people that do not go there legally. so the US has to do they same only then will this problem be solved

Windfall Tax on Retirement Income

Adding a tax to your retirement is simply another way of

saying to the American people, you're so darn stupid that

we're going to keep doing this until we drain every

cent from you. That's what the Speaker of the House is

saying.

Nancy Pelosi wants a Windfall Tax on Retirement Income.

In other words tax what you have made by investing toward

your retirement. This woman is a nut case! You aren't

going to believe this. Madam speaker Nancy Pelosi wants

to put a Windfall Tax on all stock market profits (including

Retirement Fund, 401K and Mutual Funds)! Alas, it is

true - all to help the 12 million Illegal immigrants and other

unemployed minorities!



This woman is frightening.



She quotes... 'We need to work toward the goal of equalizing

income (didn't Marx say something like this?) in our country

and at the same time limiting the amount the rich can invest.'

(I am not rich, are you?) When asked how these new tax dollars

would be spent, she replied:



'We need to raise the standard of living of our poor,

unemployed and minorities. For example, we have an

estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who

need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities.

Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long way to

guarantee these people the standard of living they would like

to have as 'Americans'.'

(Read that quote again and again and let it sink in.) 'Lower

your retirement, give it to others who have not worked as you

have for it'.

This lady is out of her mind and she is the Speaker of the House!

I note that Democrats and Republicans alike are promoting

this so we do need to get rid of all of them and start over

with new ones that want this country to prosper all over
