russian surplus ammo pouches
Does anybody other than me use these things? I am refering to the kind that you normally get with a mosin nagant. I never see anybody at the range using them. None of my friends use them. I'm starting to feel alone here. I wear two when I'm walkinG around on my property. Three compartments are filled with ammo, and one holds the surplus tool kit along with a broken shell extractor.
If you use somthing else to hold your ammo, what do you use? |
Re: russian surplus ammo pouches
i'd definitely use'm if i had a mosin nagant i was also carrying around.
i used to pack my sks round with me and carried the ammo pouch as well. normally i dont pack a rifle though anymore so i dont use a pouch. i actually just sold a mosin nagant and sks pouch on ebay. i got a bundle |
Re: russian surplus ammo pouches
Hell yeah man! Half the reason for buying a military surplus rifle is the experience of using the pouches, bayonet, and strap. a Russian hat adds to the experience by the way...

Re: russian surplus ammo pouches
I stuff my hi-capacity 9mm magazines in one that I cut the flap cover off, it holds 6 of them real snug then attach it my belt. After I shoot those mags up that's usually enough ammo spent on that gun that day. Another one I fill with loose 22's to feed my H&R 9 shot revolvers.

My Nagand ammo pouch is how I carry my ammo on stripper clips :)
