When the newly elected Gov of HI said he was going to put an end to the birth certificate debate I said GOOD!

I guess that that isn't going to happen, or he DID prove his case. If the Gov can't find it, is it really true that Obomba was born there?

I know that there are a few that don't trust World Net Daily, but this hasn't been covered only by them.

This is a huge Constitutional issue in my mind, but I guess that doesn't matter because the SCOTUS doesn't think it's worth their time. Sad state of affairs for sure.

Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie suggested in an interview published today that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health.
Abercrombie told the Honolulu Star Advertiser he was searching within the Hawaii Department of Health to find definitive vital records that would prove Obama was born in Hawaii, because the continuing eligibility controversy could hurt the president's chances of re-election in 2012.
Donalyn Dela Cruz, Abercrombie's spokeswoman in Honolulu, ignored again today another in a series of repeated requests made by WND for an interview with the governor.
Toward the end of the interview, the newspaper asked Abercrombie: "You stirred up quite a controversy with your comments regarding birthers and your plan to release more information regarding President Barack Obama's birth certificate. How is that coming?"
In his response, Abercrombie acknowledged the birth certificate issue will have "political implications" for the next presidential election "that we simply cannot have."

Suggesting he was still intent on producing more birth records on Obama from the Hawaii Department of Health vital records vault, Abercrombie told the newspaper there was a recording of the Obama birth in the state archives that he wants to make public.

Abercrombie did not report to the newspaper that he or the Hawaii Department of Health had found Obama's long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate. The governor only suggested his investigations to date had identified an unspecified listing or notation of Obama's birth that someone had made in the state archives.
"It was actually written, I am told, this is what our investigation is showing, it actually exists in the archives, written down," Abercrombie said.
For seemingly the first time, Abercrombie frankly acknowledged that presidential politics motivated his search for Obama birth records, implying that failure to resolve the questions that remain unanswered about the president's birth and early life may damage his chance for re-election.

"If there is a political agenda (regarding Obama's birth certificate), then there is nothing I can do about that, nor can the president," he said.
So far, the only birth document available on Obama is a Hawaii Certification of Live Birth that first appeared on the Internet during the 2008 presidential campaign. It was posted by two purportedly independent websites that have displayed a strong partisan bias for Obama – Snopes.com released the COLB in June 2008, and FactCheck.org published photographs of the document in August 2008.
WND previously reported the Hawaii Department of Health has refused to authenticate the COLB posted on the Internet by Snopes.com and FactCheck.org.



WND has reported that in 1961, Obama's grandparents, Stanley and Madelyn Dunham, could have made an in-person report of a Hawaii birth even if the infant Barack Obama Jr. had been foreign-born.
Similarly, the newspaper announcements of Obama's birth do not prove he was born in Hawaii, since they could have been triggered by the grandparents registering the birth as Hawaiian, even if the baby was born elsewhere.
Moreover, WND has documented that the address reported in the newspaper birth announcements was the home of the grandparents.
WND also has reported that Barack Obama Sr. maintained his own separate apartment in Honolulu, even after he was supposedly married to Ann Dunham, Barack Obama's mother, and that Dunham left Hawaii within three weeks of the baby's birth to attend the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dunham did not return to Hawaii until after Barack Obama Sr. left Hawaii in June 1962 to attend graduate school at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass.
Conceivably, the yet undisclosed birth record in the state archives that Abercrombie has discovered may have come from the grandparents registering Obama's birth, an event that would have triggered both the newspaper birth announcements and availability of a Certification of Live Birth, even if no long-form birth certificate existed.
WND has also reported that Tim Adams, a former senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu in 2008, has maintained that there is no long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate on file with the Hawaii Department of Health and that neither Honolulu hospital – Queens Medical Center or Kapiolani Medical Center – has any record that Obama was born there.

I think it makes more sense that his mother was a dual citizen and his father was not a citizen of the US, therefore Obama's citizenship wouldn't even matter because his parents are not naturalized citizens.

The man was not born in the states...period! If he was, his camp would have produced a legal birth certificate a long time ago to shut up the masses. He was a half rate senator from IL that got noticed some time ago by the Soros goons, and was groomed from there to be "put" in the White House. He is there for a reason, and we are seeing it unfold on a daily basis. You can choose to believe it and prepare, or you can believe that this is just politics as usual. If the latter is your line of thought, please tell me anything that is "usual" about his presidency...

It's not our responsibility to prove it. It's Obama's responsibility to prove it. I think both of us have made a pretty good case for questioning the man's citizenship.

They dont have to produce it. They couldnt if they did have to. The liberals have a plan for every illegal thing they do. Its smoke and mirrors. They trash anyone who gos against them and spin it around. If you call them out, they claim that you are a homegrown terrorist that is trying to cause trouble. There will NEVER be a birth certificate produced or any school records. They dont exist. What they are hiding is the documents that do list him as a immigrant and a muslim. Those do exist.

I just don't understand why no one (that I'm aware of) in congress has been bringing up the issue on the floor of either house and demanding the matter be settled once and for all. This whole mess reminds me of the story of the emperors new clothes.

But here is what I question about the article:

So what? All that questions is whether Obamas parents were really married. Being a bastard has never disqualified anyone for president before...seems we've had enough of them.

What does that fact prove? Rather than where she traveled after Obamas birth, I would think they'd try to determine her travels before his birth. Actually if it was determined that Dunham left Hawaii so soon after Obama's birth, that would seem to lend some credence to the argument that at least sometime within three weeks of Obama's birth she was in fact in Hawaii, unless it is meant to imply that Obama was born in Kenya, then Dunham brought him back to Hawaii to dump off with her parents before going off to school in Washington.

In any event, this whole discussion should have been settled long before now, and the number one reason it isn't is Barack Hussein Obama himself.

If he was born in a hospital in the states, he would have produced a legal birth certificate a long time ago to shut up the masses.

That no hospital has the records does NOT mean that he was born outside the country; it just means that he was born outside the hospitals. I'm not a fan of the guy anymore than any of the rest of you, but it's already been determined that questioning his citizenship isn't going to matter, so why are we still arguing it? :confused:

We've lost this fight; let's move on to the next one.

First off snopes is run by one man, and his wife, and both are very liberal (socialist). Don't put much faith in anything they have to say.

Second point here is that this is a certificate of live birth, which only means that he was alive at birth. This is not the same as a birth certificate.

It still seems to me that if this dog had any legs, the GOP and the new Tea Party legislators would do something with it. Otherwise, I have to embrace the idea that the GOP and at least some members of the Tea Party are secretly in love with Obama and want him to stay in office. A most unlikely conspiracy theory.

Like I said, the left is locked and loaded with funding to discredit anyone who attempts to question them. Power and money (soros) has influenced the courts and also the state of Hawaii to accept the document of live birth as fact and anyone who questions that is just plain racist and a terrorist that cant stand a black man being pres. and therefore has no credibility. Yes folks, that is exactly how the liberals think.

First they gave us a name; "birthers". Then they set about trivializing our position and making jokes as if we were all lunatics. The ridicule has gone on for two years, everytime someone mentions the issue. Now it's so people aren't speaking out because they don't want to be labled "one of them". And after all of this the question still hasn't been answered, "Was and is Barack Hussein Obama eligible to be president?"

The sad part is, it really doesn’t matter if Obummer is a natural born citizen or not, in his heart, he isn’t an American. Abandoned by his supposed father, brought up in what might be called slums in Indonesia, brought up by a Marxist mother who hated the US, sent to Madras schools where the only things they teach are the Koran and hatred of the US, he came to Hawaii to live with his grandparents when his mother abandoned him. His mentors were Marxists. He hangs with the “radical” crowd in college, college records are kept secret. After college he becomes a protégé of the Alinski crowd in Chicago. Obviously chosen and groomed for high position. He got the high position. Too bad he is totally incompetent.

Like others have noted, I believe this ship has sailed. It's been shouted down loudly enough and by so many people, there's no way for it to gain any more momentum. Besides, when you're at the top of the US government, I don't think it would be too challenging to get forms printed that say anything you wish.

The best bet is to focus on getting a replacement in there next election. We're over half way there.

Yea, when soros calls the shots, any type of document you need is at your disposal. Problem is they refuse to produce even a fabricated document. Why would they choose to spend over 2 million in legal fees to protect that document?
