Cz 452 Scout Groups
 
Got a chance to do a little shooting on my way home from work today. it was COLD and windy. all groups shot laying down with bipod and rear bag.

ammo used was Fed Gold, Rem Sub, CCI SV, Blazers

Looks like some good groups. But try these in your CZ , Armscor Precision HP. They have a low price and for me they the best in 3 of my guns. ( CZ 452, ruger 77/22, weatherby xx11) All group size were under .500 and the best was .269. I tried 8 difference type and these were the best.

Oh and all the groups were at 50 yds...

John, how do these compare with Wolf MT or Wolf ME? Where can you buy them. I have had better luck with Wolf and SK Standard + than any other medium priced ammo, but I do like cheap ammo.:thumbsup:

Nice shooting, sir. My son told me this morning he wants to try 100 yards with his CZ 452 Scout, but he'll have to settle down and really aim to do it. It's a great little rifle, and he loves it.
Also, try Aguila ammo, that seemed to work best in our CZ 22lr rifles.

I have not tried the Wolf, but you can get Armcor precision HP at Mid Way. There are $2.89 = 50 rounds and $25.99 for 500 rounds. I tried 3 difference Aguila , Wincester HP, Remington HP, RWS HP, 3 difference CCI HP, and Federal HP. At 50 yds the Armscor was #1, the CCI mini-mag HP and Velocitor HP was #2, Federal HP was #3. On the most accuracy one (gun) was the weatherby xx11 , next was the CZ 452, and the the Ruger 77/22. All were shot at 50 yds.

I did the shooting of a bench rest . Difference guns ( CZ"S all so) like difference ammo. I was just suprised that the Armscor HP shot better then the RWS HP. The 100 yards is a long was for very tight groups with most 22 cal.. I have only seen 1 that would do it and that was the Remington 541 T or S, they don't make them any more. I lost mine in a fire. It would put a group a 100 yds. at 1" all day. Another tip is get the trigger as light as you can. My CZ 452 had a 4 ounce trigger. Put a YoDaves trigger kit in.
