Welcome. Like sherrer1* said, reduce your loads when using military brass. The case volume is smaller due to thick brass. Same with .308 and 7.62. Glad to see someone else enjoying saving money,...

A note on imr4227. Lyman says max for 7mmMag is 34gr for a CAST LEAD BULLET. This caught my eye because it was the same powder w/about the same charge the completely destroyed a Remington made...

Thanks for welcome. Wanted a weapon/caliber that had, ease of reloading, inherent accuracy & easy on shoulder(bad back). Started w/mauser action that Douglas wouldn't rebarrel. Got a pawn shop Savage...

7mm08 pet loads?

I recently finished building a 7mm08. Would appreciate y'alls input on some loads to try out. plan on shooting bullets from 139grs. and up. Really just trying to find a base line to start from. Thanks
