I have to go with the shotgun. I personally use a Mossberg 500 with 00 buck. I load mine with the reduced recoil rounds so my fiancee can handle the weapon a little easier if need be.

I would recommend one of the glock mid size the 19 or 30. Your SP101 is a good choice but get the .357 so you can carry either the .38 or .357 rds.
