Having said all that, I have placed a 4 shot group at 3" from 400 yds with my .270
That rifle likes a 150 gr Winchester Power Point cartridge best. It has zero drop at 400 yds and is dead on for 2...

shooting a .308

1 never having had formal training, what is concidered a good group at 400 yards? 1 inch....10 inches?

2. how important is brass? does it make a lot of differance in accuracy?

Question scope adjustment

I have an IOR Valdada scope on a 308 rifle. it is zeroed in but the elevation turret is set on 2 and the windage turret is on 6. how do i move the turrets and NOT change the zero?

M1A vs AK-47

in a combat situation which is best. ive heard the M1A is more accurate and heavier but the AK is more reliable and lighter.

has anybody ever figured out how much money you save by rolling your own. naturally it depends on the prices of the components. i reload for a 308. but have no idea how much it cost per bullet.

i have an Atlas Bipod on my AICS. it aint cheap but there are no springs to worry about and it can be configured in ways a Harris cant. legs are independent and will fold forward, backward and at 45...

cleaning

a friend told me i didnt need to run a brush with copper remover on it through my rifle to clean it. said to just run a few patches through it and it would be fine. ive always run a brush through it...
