First off the part about "One well aimed shot at a time" might work well in theory but in the real world the bad guys shoot back and most of your return fire will be rapid and from behind cover....

I believe a 1000 is a good start especially if your trying to get a reserve on several calibers. I guess the biggest thing you should factor in is the guns themselves. If you only have 1 low cap .45...

Check out Walther P22's their made/imported by S&W now, Also with the interchangeable backstraps, Nice and small grip and the finger grooved magazine they can be tailored to just about any size hand

Night sights are good for the first shot, But after that 99% of the time the shooter is gonna be blind from the muzzle flash, Or at least temporarily can't see the night sights for any other shots.

Ideally all shooters need to start off at 22lr just to make sure they don't develop flinch shooting. But a 45 will be a fine choice if that is what she wants.

The are supposed to be slower than the speed of sound which should get rid of the sonic boom(loud crack) from the shot. Sub sonics are real popular with suppressors because the suppressor gets rid of...

I prefer the Glock style sights with the squared U weather it is on a Glock or not. Those styles usually give me the best and quickest target acquisition.

Dang near all my guns are loaded with Winchester Silver-Tips weather it's my 380 or one of my 45's. For 9mm if you don't like Winchester, I would try the Federal Tactical +P+ it is supposed to be...
