I have a Winchester Model 55 .22 single shot semi-auto. I believe it was made for about 3 years between 1958 and 1961 about 45,000 were made .The rifle functions flawlessly. :) Cliff

I have 2 of them,A Henry Golden Boy and a Savage 93 17 HMR.The Ammo is easier to obtain now than .22 LR. Needless to say far more expensive than .22LR- about 12 dollars per 50. Enjoy Cliff

I am impressed with the 17HMR. At 2500 FPS it screams towards its destination. Wind will effect the bullet,but it is also a flat shooting cartridge. Within 165 yards it will take out Fox and Coyotes,...
