Re: .45 is .410 is 10.414MM?

the 40S&W is the same caliber as 10mm.

And the real measurements on a 45 cal would either be .451 or .452 (I just learned that on this forum) Not .410

Good Luck!

.451 or .452 ?

when you pickup a box of .45acp FMJ from wally world, are they loaded with 451 or 452? If I understand correctly, 452 is for cast lead boolits, and 451 is factory FMJ bullets.

Same question for...

Re: What is a TMJ bullet?

Fully encased in copper, so there is no exposure to lead. Advertised as being safer to shoot indoors, because of the lack of burnt lead vapor. Hope this helps.

Re: Sawdust as Case Tumbling Media?

Thanks ARCHIE, yeah I've heard about ammonia before. That's why I tumble the brasso and corncob for 5 minutes before I add the brass. Thinking that gives it time to air out... maybe I'm wrong on this.

Re: Sawdust as Case Tumbling Media?

GRIFFON, Why do you say not to use Brasso? I have been using it with my corncob. It has been working. I tumble the brasso and corncob together for 5minutes before I add the brass cases to tumble.

Re: 308 vs 7.62 Nato

Slightly off topic, but related: I have always heard and read that a 5.56 will chamber into a .223 rifle, (because they are the same size cartridge) but the 5.56 will eventually blow blow up the...

Thanks FIREWRENCH, Windex sounds like my easy ticket.
