new stocks are dam expensive. gonna take it to a gun smith and see about getting it fixed. im just worried i might have paid a little too much for it

i bought a remington 760 recently. i paid 225 for it. the only things thats wrong with it is the stock i s cracked. but the wood is in good condition . just normal wear fo a gun thats 60 years old....

if it comes down to it i dont have a problem shooting to kill. just not my first option. i'd rather get em knocked down then beat the **** out of him, hog tie him out by the road then call the cops...

like i said im a shot gun guy. im from ohio where we cant use rifles. i know there are alot of different slugs in each gauge availble. is it he same with rifle bullets too?
