Re: Value of my used Certified Pre-Owned Sig 226 9mm

I would much rather have that set up than an M9. I carried an M9 and the SIG to me is the better weapon.

Re: why realitively low power sniper scopes??

When I was a Scount Sniper in 90-91 with 3/2 STA we used a fixed 10X Unertl and the ballistic come ups were set for a .173 grain Lake City Match round. That is all we ever fired out of those rifles....

Re: more ?'s / opinion needed on metal paint on sks

I have used the flat black high heat paint that rustoleum makes and it worked fine. If it's just a shooter and not a cabinet queen it should work just fine at little cost.

In 1987 I qualified with the same type of pistol in the Marines. It was a well used Remington Rand. I didn't see a Beretta until 1990.

Re: Derringer

Use it for trade fodder for something you really want. I did that with a .22 revolver at a gun show and the damn thing would shoot right 60% of the time then the cylinder would bind and or not cycle....

Stay away from the Steel case Wolf ammo...I know two friends who have had ruptured cases or cases stuck in chambers of Mini 14's and AR's.
