Re: Old .22 Rifles

Here's my problem. I picked up this 1857 Whitney .22 rifle during an estate auction. I didn't have a chance to look at it ahead of time and from the back row, I thought that it was an old Remington....

My Father gave me the Win 67A Boy's Model in 1955 on my eighth birthday and the Win Model 74 when I turned eleven. I still have them.

Re: would anyone ever carry a desert eagle?

I had one chrome in 50AE that I paid about $1400 for. I reloaded for it, so had a range of loads. If I remember right, Starline made brass for it. It was just a range toy and I never considered...

Here's a few of the 45/70s that I have. I reload with 5744 when not using black powder. With the right sights, a 45/70 can be accurate to 1000 yards. Billy Dixon to 1400 yards.

Re: What's the loudest firearm you've ever owned?

The loudest gun I've ever fired is a Ruger Blackhawk in 30 Carbine. It also puts out about two feet of flame. It's louder than the 10 gauge coach gun that I have.
