High Point 9mm

My friend asked me about the trigger pull on his High Point 9mm. Apparently it is a very hard pull and I said "can't you adjust it?". Anyone know how? Ken

1858 Remington Manual

Anyone have an Owner's Manual for a 1858 Remington Army that you would consider making a copy for me. If so, how much would you charge me. Thanks, Ken

Re: Brass Frames

Hey John, If I read his post correctly, he has shot it 777 times. I'm going to get a Remington 1858 with brass frame. I don't think I'll shoot it enough to hurt it and I really like the way they...

Brass Frames

I like the looks of the brass framed BP Remingtons. Should I be concerned about the durability of these brass frames? I'll only be shooting 2 or 3 cylinders of rounds about once a week. Thanks, ...

Re: Load data for .45 colt 255gr FP

I found 255gr load data in the Lyman's manual but it's for "alloy" bullets. How much difference should there be between "alloy" and "plated" bullet charges? Ken

Load data for .45 colt 255gr FP

I can't seem to find load data for a 255gr FP plated bullet for my .45 colt. There's plenty of 250gr and 260gr data but can't find 255gr. Is there a safe way to extrapolate between the two? I have...

Preferred Media for shell tumbler

Is there any advantage using one media vs another in your shell tumbler. I've read about "corn cob media" and "walnut shell media". I'll be reloading .45 colt and .32 S-W longs. Thanks, Ken
