well never mind actually. I went with a 312 mold and sizer, figuring that will work fine since i was actually shooting surplus jacketed at 311 dia with acceptable accuracy.

I use a hornady hand tool to remove crimps in a few twists. It is only ideal if you're not preparing a TON of cases though. If that's the case I'd recommend a swager you can use in a press to fly...

I can vouch for this, I've decapped many live primers lately. Just dont slam your press on them, a slow stroke once engaged and its no problem.

It seems to be close burn rate of IMR4198 which I've had issues with operating gas systems so I think I'll go with something slower to be safe.

I'd only consider that if I was using heavier bullets. But I already have Varget for that, and I'm trying to find a powder for niche 55gr loads :P Well, then again it is right between H335 and Varget...

When I first started reloading, I did some math and figured, "WOW, I can use way less IMR4198". Of course, it's a very fast powder and wont cycle semi-autos so now I have a pound of that rotting...

I had the same problem. The necks werent being sized enough, and I have to screw the sizing die down much more over center for them to be sized enough to chamber. I've had this problem with Lee dies...

I tried 4.8gr Unique on these bullets and had zero issues, went great. I ladder tested from 4.8 to 5.5gr and there was no noticeable difference so i will stick with 4.8.

I loaded to 1.135 OAL for these test runs. 9mm isn't the first thing I loaded. I'll keep that in mind and tweak my load a bit! 4.5gr Unique willl probably do just the trick. I would love to burn...
