I honestly don't know about the Remington. I own one 10/22 and it is pretty much stock. The only internal modification that I have done it to put in a WeaponKraft Bolt Buffer. I bust clays at 100...

I haven't been into reloading all that long, but I'd load a few into some empty cases and try test firing them (in the empty cases...primer only) and see if they work. Just choose a few at random...

The .303 has killed many large game animals all over Africa. If you can make a good hit, I wouldn't hesitate to use one on any animal in the US.
