Re: Confused about selling my C&R guns
So, I've got a C&R and I buy a pistol and he ships it to me by USPS, and I'm the guilty one. Your logic escapes me. What would you do, run to the BATF and confess?

Re: Confused about selling my C&R guns
That may be true, but a lot of people do it. I'm a buyer and most of my handguns have come to me by USPS.

Re: BATF Audits of C&R Records
Jim K, I have to disagree with youu when you say this is not a right but a privilege. I think the U.S. Constitution gives us this right. It has been severely abused by our pompous politicians though....

Re: BATF Audits of C&R Records
I made my own "Bound Book". It is easy to do. You just need a note book and then copy some pages of the form, which is available on the internet. And it is legal.

Re: New FFL C&R Holder
He does have an FFL. That stands for Federal Firearms License, one of which is a C&R license.

Re: .22 Short, Long & Long Rifle Question
Marlin cautions strongly not to use Hi-Volocity in one of their rifles. It's the Model 39 made in the late 20's and early 30's. They may/will break the bolt. They re-engineered the bolt in 1938 I...

Re: What's your favorite .22 rifle ??
Well, I can't shoot worth a darn. I'm left handed but my right eye is dominant. But I love to look at and play with my 1920's Marlin 39. It's a beauty. James

Re: .22 damage
It all depends on where your hit. They can be just as deadly as any other gun, but the damage would be much less unless you hit a vital area, ie: brain-- heart. James

Re: Can anyone tell me about this Savage?
That is not a 1914. It is a 1909 or earlier. It is missing the ammo clip that goes just in front of thr trigger guard. The 1914 and later use a tube magazine. I believe the clip held 7 or 8 rounds. I...
