My issues with the Hornady LNL press:

1. Breakages of the indexing pawls
2. Completed rounds are thrown occassionally to the wrong side
3. Breakage of the shell retaining spring

I have owned BOTH of these presses. After 5 months of total frustration with the Hornady, I gave up and bought a Dillon 550.

No issues with the Dillon.

The LNL just refused to run and would...

Re: Case Trimmer Word To The Wise

I was going to buy this unit until I learned about the shell holders here a few months ago. Besides, I avoid Hornady equipment because their quality control is non-existent.

Re: Shot the 300 win mag today

I bought a Winchester 338 Win mag about 20 years ago. I can shoot it maybe 12 times and that is it. It weighs a ton and I would not want to carry it in the woods all day.

Re: seen primers hit 100$/1000 !!!

How often do you re-check powder drops in a progressive?

Does this depend on which brass you are reloading? How about the type of powder being used? How about the press/powder drop?
