One of my pistols was leaded a bit after some lead rounds were tried but a magazine full of jacketed rounds fired thru it cleaned it up pretty good. Just something to try. Much quicker than a brush.

I would just like to add that my friends AR-15 would do the same thing as yours if the bolt got really dirty. His would often fire 5 to 8 rounds before you could get your finger off of the trigger....

In my first reloads I was using Remington primers with about the same sucess as the Seller & Bellot factory ammo. [40% failure rate] I switched to Federal primers with better sucess about 95%...

I prefer a hyper velocity hollow point for squirrels for a quick and clean kill compared to standard velocity stuff and those hypers are quite accurate in my 10/22.
