Re: .22 cal smooth bore?

Marlin made the "Garden Gun". IIRC it was a .22 Mag smoothbore.

Here is an article about it. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0BQY/is_3_46/ai_59281208/ I have never seen one in person.

Re: velocity AND THE TARGET

+1 Also, the match ammo is made with better quality control, and is more consistent. The Wolf .22 ammo is in fact repackaged SK ammo, that is made in Germany. It is very good ammo.

Re: My $250, NIB H&R 5200 Target Rifle

I haven't done anything to my 5200. It is box stock. My wife gave it to me 2 Christmases ago. She got it from her boss for $400. It had a set of Lyman sights on it. My eyesight is lacking, so I went...

Those are 50Ft indoor targets. Here is a 100 yard outdoor one. the top group is the best I have ever shot. I lost my good position when I moved down.:(

Re: My $250, NIB H&R 5200 Target Rifle

Thanks John. The 5200 is my prone rifle. Here are some targets that I happened to take pics of. I am not the best shot, but these give some idea as to how it shoots.

Re: My $250, NIB H&R 5200 Target Rifle

That 5200 looks great. The wood looks a little different than mine. I opted to go with a Lyman 25x Super targetspot instead of a more modern scope.

Anybody else have one of these?

I bought this Rossi Princess, but have found little info on it. This thing is so tiny and cute, that I couldn't pass it up. Is there anyway to determine the Date of manufacture?
Thanks,
