Also a kitchen is required to have a minimum of two circuits just for counter plugs. If there are only two counter plugs each must be a separate circuit.

Usually overkill in a home. Also requires a four wire feed and isolated neutrals and grounds. Most trying to install these do them wrong and cause more problems than they solve.
