Titan .25 Semi-Automatic

This belongs to a friend of wifes husband, who passed last week. No idea where it came from, probably somewhere in Oklahoma, as it has a price tag from Otasco. This stood for Oklahoma Tire and...

Re: Propane refrigerator help needed

Grizz,

You might try IRV2, which is one of the best (in my opinion) RV forums on the web. The 2nd best is RV.net.

Good luck....

Re: Dorner holed up in cabin, surrounded

One of their spoksmen mentioned that when he was first spotted, the two guys that got shot intercepted him with their "Patrol Rifles".

This seems to be the new wording for "Black Assault Weapons",...

Re: Piers-of-crap Morgan and Dick Morris on CNN

Mr. Morgan should just go away. Never thought I would say it, but "I miss Larry King".

Re: Obama plans all out campaign against NRA and gun owners

He continues to do this, even on the day he takes an oath to protect and defend the constitution.

It takes a twisted mind to be able to reconcile that.

Re: Marlin .22, anyone know this model?

As to the 'greased' part, Peters made tons of .22 ammo in the OLD days. I have shot many bricks through three different rifles back then. Peters ammo did make comment of 'greased' on their boxes.

Re: How can this be?

I suppose the sign depends upon local laws.

Plenty of places here in Texas have what are called 'Gun Buster' signs, but just ignore them. They do not have the weight of law. Many businesses put...

Re: Tactical shooting gloves

You might give golf gloves a try. You will have to buy one for each hand, but they are made of good leather, form fitting, usually velcro closing, and thin enough so you can easily operate the slide...

Re: anyone seen Bigfoot

Normal forum BS from most posters.

Nothing to really say, but go ahead and make some inane comment not really on the topic, to keep their post count up.

Re: anyone seen Bigfoot

Well, not a big one but a medium size.

Long ago (about 1956) I was in the Sea Scouts. President Rosevelt deeded a small island to our scouting group during the early 40's when the TVA was being...

The lettering on the barrel seems to be 'roll stamped', not engraved. Usually reserved for low-end replicas.

Just saying......

Re: When do we stop making new laws?

We have way too many laws that outdated. We should start weeding some of these antiques out.

I feel that any law passed must written and phrased in clear enough language that a law degree is not...

It might be possible that he is asking about a LeMat. Not enough info, too many chances to get it wrong.

Re: Ruger 22/45

I enjoy my Mk III 22/45 very much, except for one thing.

Have lots of time and patience when you start to break it down for a decent cleaning.

If you have three hands and x-ray vision you will...

Re: when and where was your !st encounter with the m1 garand

June, 1960 at Parris Island. I had been shooting since around 8 years old, mostly .22's, and an occasional chance to shoot my cousins 1903A3.

During our qualification, I shot a 248, which put me...

Re: Bigfoot and the USMC

Ditto to 'freezing' for what seemed to be hours. I know our meeting probably lasted no more than ten seconds, but it seemed much longer. And your comment about doubting yourself is exactly right.

Re: Ruger 10/22 Question

A couple of months ago I bought a new 10-22. I bought my first one in about 1962, my second around 1980. Somehow I can't seem to keep one for any real length of time. Sure wish I had them back.

It may just be 'old-timers', but I 'think' I remember getting a loader with my first 10-22 purchase in about 1962. Came in the box, just a stamped metal part. I checked with Ruger recently, and...

Note to Gunnutz13:

What scope is that on your Buckmark? Where did you get it? Is it working out for you? What did you pay?

Thanks,
