Hmmm I didn't get a 33 number or 30. Guess I must have been measuring wrong. The site is back in. And I have screws coming from a local source, and possibly from Bushnell so hopefully in a week or...

Your right about rivers either shooting or not shooting out of the box

However most all I've found will shoot inside an inch with less the 50 bucks invested and a few hours of my time.

Well I tried a 5x40 screw. It isn't quite right so I've got 10 6x40s on order.

Glass matters most I'd decide what kinda power glass the buy that first. Leupold 3-9vxIIs are my go to Scopes. For me the work awesome. But they are the bottom of the line and cost 300 bucks.

Just got done in redneck Fab shop. Turned this Allen head down to fit and cut this to length. Its a 5x40 screw.

I was going to make a screw but it seemed from replies that that was a bad idea and to call millett. A week later I'm back at square one

I had to reply because I feel the best fix for that lost cap is to replace that scope.
Even if the 770 isn't that great I'd feel better with glass tripling the rifles value.

I was shooting at a paced 50 yds might been an actual 60 plus. How many yards is 50 meters
