Great research! I have a 1st Gen that I bought new in the box in 1989. I think they are one of the greatest and underrated handguns available. I'm always on the hunt for another one.

If you can go Air Force get into Contracting, Intel or any type of IT work and you will be set. AF has a major problem training and loosing these folks so they offer very large bonuses to stay in.

Congrates! Pre-war are hard to come by, even at the CMP store. Carbine was a big surprise for me. It actually had a G-3 or Service Grade on it. Had I known I would have ordered 3.

Doesnt appear to be USGI, they never went to 7M. Could be a SAI reproduction from the 1990's. Zero collector value and worth about $4-500.

That is correct, I was at the SS a few weeks ago and most rifles and accesories start to move in 35-40 days. The HRA SG is much slower since they dont find as many.
