Re: CZ-75 spur hammer, will it bite you?

My older CZ-75 has the spur hammer. The hammer spur hit my hand, but not painfully, but I ground it down a bit just to be safe. Now I can manually cock it but it doesn't hit the web of my hand.

Re: But, seein as this here's a 44 Magnum...

For those who like shooting full power .44, the Dan Wesson 744 is a good candidate. Even with a light 6" barrel it weighs about 56 oz.

Re: S&W 41: What it likes to eat

More recently I have been using CCI Standard Velocity. It shoots very well and has a little more impulse and cycles fine. I also occasionally shoot Green Tag, but it is more expensive.

Re: But, seein as this here's a 44 Magnum...

For many people the .44 mag is the biggest caliber that they can reasonably handle with anything approaching full power loads. It is a fairly specialized cartridge that many can use. The bigger ones...

Re: F-22 Pilots Dizzy at the controls

OBOGS is an osmotic system where you separate oxygen from air, leaving fairly pure O2 on one side and enriched nitrogen on the other side. O2 to the aircrew, enriched nitrogen to the fuel tanks....

Re: 1873 Winchester

I looked on a website with production dates and it indicated 1885. I presume the .38 caliber is .38-40. If it is in decent shape, I suspect it is worth several thousand dollars. I wouldn’t recommend...

Re: F-22 Pilots Dizzy at the controls

This seems pretty silly to me. We have been using OBOGS O2 systems for about 25 yrs. Why can't these bozos get this thing right? If they can't get it right, replace the damn thing with LOX.

Re: 10/22 volquartsen 2000 trigger & FTE

One reason for this could be the ammo is just a bit lower powered than what you have used in the past. It may be marginal to push the bolt back and cycle the thing. The new hammer spring of the new...

Re: StG 44 in .22LR - How cool is this?

Cool, but the clones of the StG 44 which are/were made recently in a limited run were going for over $4k. I like to have nice centerfires with .22 surrogates. A bit spendy for this pair.
