FS 640rd Tin of 7.62x39 $180
For sale, a 640 round unopened tin of Herter's 7.62x39 FMJ ammunition. As I have sold my AKM to a friend, there is little point to keep this around my house. I'm asking only what I paid for it,...

Re: Daughter wants a 9mm 1911
There's actually not much difference between 9mm and .45ACP in terms of muzzle energy. Given the .45ACP large case and low standard pressure there's a lot more room for making it hotter, but...

Re: .223 accuracy of bolt vs semi-auto
If long range accuracy is your wish, then you can get a much better bolt gun (like a remington 700) than you can for the same money spent on an AR (you know, before everyone went crazy :p ). That...

Re: Ruger Single 9 Defective out of box
Unless it's a convertible gun (has a .22LR cylinder too), it doesn't mean much. They've matched it to your gun, so it'll function right. It's a collectors issue. Not that I think a single 6 is...

Apparently they didn't like that it had a fixed carry handle. Also since I built it out of RRA parts, but not RRA that makes it much less valuable. It's a light weight build, 14.5" barrel govt...

Re: What should I do with my AR?
So I've just learned that RRA likes to assemble their rifles with red loctite. I think I'm just gonna take a hit and try to sell the complete upper. Then I'll just build a new carbine upper.

Re: What should I do with my AR?
Well my current plan is try to sell the barrel. If it doesn't sell after a month I'll machine it. Or maybe I'll just toss it in the closet to make a varmint upper one day.

Non-bull 20" barrels are rare to start. Then that's just not a common twist. I've seen the original 1:12 and then 1:9, 1:8, and 1:7.
