I found the Desert Ironwood at http://www.arizonaironwood.com

Great woods, not just ironwood.

Carl has wood sources as well.

I was very persistent in finding the wood I wanted.

I stripped the hex area where the allen wrench goes into the screw head.

I have no idea what a torx is guys. Poor grad student here with minimal tools.

Was taking my grips off and stripped one of the hex screws that I bought to replace the regular screws that had come with my Hougue grips on my S&W 1911.
