Yard Sale Find- Old Tenite Butt Plates *Pic*

Picked them up at a yard sale today,Wondering if anyone has ever seen something like this before,the boxes look like thay are from 50's or 60's.maybe 40's???.. I thought they were very interesting....

ok,thanks
I was just wondering about it before I tried it....it just seemed like a 22 short sits so far back in the cylinder and it would have to travel more then half way through the cylinder...

Hi Kirk,yes it's all original,not drilled out for mounts or sling swivels. I've been looking for a long time for one that wasn't all beat up and also in the 35 Rem cal. There is a lot of 30 Rem. cals...

I did...they give you a name of a guy to send info to but he charges a fee...I really don't want to have to pay money just to have a question answered.

The 32spl. and the 35 Rem's go for a little more then the
30-30
and if it's not drilled out for a scope it's worth more, Marlin didn't start drilling them till 1956
I've seen ones in nice cont....

The old gentleman I bought it from bought it new in 1985,and never took it out of the box,it was never fired. I did find in the box...
