The only PPK/S I've had any experience with were all in .380, S&W and Interarms and did I mention...they have a pretty hefty kick. But I don't remember any that I could pull the front of the trigger...

If aa1911 has those short slot mags that is exactly one of the problems they cause. A live round will slip out of the magazine and fly out of the pistol while the breech block picks up the next...

Yes blue threadlocker is ok, don't use red. Ruger fixed the loaded chamber indicator immediately. They are two piece polymer now although they still stick out the left side of the receiver. M1911
