Re: FEG AP9 blowback issue

Fiocchi loads their 7.65Br to CIP standards. SAAMI only allows it to be loaded to 21000 psi. CIP is loaded to 26000 psi. Same thing for S&B. I notice a huge difference between UMC and the European...

Re: Why no .41 mag semi-auto?

I remember them days. 41AE hit 1150fps with a 210 grain projectile. Then came along the weaker 40 with a lighter 180 grain launched 150 fps slower.

Marketing and hype was all the 41AE was in need...

Re: Nagant revolver

Wrap a single layer of scotch tape around a 32 long will help it fill the chamber better. It dont stop the bulge, it just centers it in the chamber better. The brass expands enough to keep blowby gas...

You sure about that. S&W has huge QC issues with their slide finish. They try to use a metal treatment like Glock but if done wrong on stainless metals it makes stainless very rust prone. The process...

Re: S&W M&P vs. Springfield Armory XD/XDM

S&W makes some decent 1911s, M4s, but their Glock line of pistols is lacking. 20 years of copying it and they still aint got it right.

I use the Russian ball ammo too in 88 and 108 grain. the 88 grain moves out at 1300 fps...... 32 H&R mag only gets 1167 fps with 85 grain.

Re: S&W M&P vs. Springfield Armory XD/XDM

What!?

Any pistol that needs a refurb at 5K is worthless. On a Glock a refurb kit is a new recoil spring and on an XD it will last 15-20K before a new recoil spring is needed.

Get the XD....
