I have a single stage press, handle down, the die is screwed down untill it touches the shell holder and backed of a 1/4 turn and the set screw tightened. LIke the thickness of a matchbook

Sized only brass. A case gage . Im just saying after sizing they dont all just drop in and out of the gage..Is that a problem?...

The die is indeed set up correctly. Some are hanging up in the gage about 1/8 from seating in it fully

They all go into the sizng die just fine....The ones that "need help" going into the case gage go in easier (most of the time) if I run them thru the die a second time....Need I worry? Or am I too...

I did call Sig and they suggested trying different ammo.(duh)
I went out and fired 100 rds of Magtec 230.gr .45 ACP without a single feed problem.

I'm reloading 1000 .45 ACP cases using Montana Gold 230 Gr. FMJ.
should I be belling the cases?
My last batch was with Ranieer plated bullets and I soon found belling the cases a must.
