Re: magazine problem

I have noticed that when using my Butler Creek loader (AKA UpLULA) the finger that presses the stack down does take up a bit of room that the last round is trying to occupy. I managed to get that...

Re: magazine problem

I thought that was an interesting idea and I had the Beretta mag laying here so I got a box of ammo and the Butler Creek loader and shoved 13 rounds in without a problem...I give up.

Has anyone here ever had a pistol mag not hold what it was supposed to hold?

I have a Beretta .380 with two 13 round mags. One will only take 12. I also have two M&P 12 round mags and one will...

Re: commercial 3006 safe for my garand

I have also been told that it is wise be a bit conservative and keep things in the range the Garand was designed for. Cleaning the gas tube and port is not difficult.

Yeh, it is real easy. The 444 I am working with is the same. Just do like the above link says. Remove the lever then the bolt and then the ejector. The only thing to be careful of is that the ejector...

Re: NEED Cleaning Advice Please!

After that good cleaning use a dry-film lube like EEZOX to keep things from gumming up and holding on to dirt, dust, powder residue that can turn to mud.

As I don't do any real hunting anymore I am...

Re: Redfield scope question

I found one like that being sold online and it also had a serial number that began with AB so I figure that there was a pre-lo-pro line of scopes.

Re: Looking for an owners manual - Redfield 4X

I had my doubts about the looks of this scope, I thought it might be a marriage of two scopes but I have found info that indicates it is normal for this era scope. Man, did that take some digging!

Re: I need a rough opinion on value - Browning 12ga

Well, it's only an ad in a paper - no pictures. I kind of suspected there were some low end models that might make this not much of a good thing.

Looking for an owners manual - Redfield 4X

I need a rough opinion on value - Browning 12ga

Would that description...
